APS User Requirements

The APS User Office is located in Building 401, Room B-1154. The telephone extension 2-9090.

• The APS User Office requires that you complete the APS User Registration Form (initial visit). Non-U.S. citizens who are citizens of, or whose employers are located in, sensitive countries MUST have an indices check completed before they will be permitted to enter the Argonne site. Please be aware that you will need to plan well in advance as this needs to be done at least 6 weeks ahead of entering the Argonne site.
• The APS User Office requires that you complete the APS User Orientation Study Guide, and the GERT Study Guide
• You will also need to obtain an APS user badge for access to the ANL gate and the APS building.
• The user must complete the APS Experimental Safety Approval Form (ESAF)

SER-CAT User Requirements

• Completion of the User Registration Form (initial visit only).
• Completion of the SER-CAT Sector Orientation, in which you will be instructed in using the SER-CAT facilities, is required.
• A SER-CAT Hazard Assessment Form (SERHAF) is required.
• Upon conclusion of your experiemnt, please complete the User End-of-Run Summary Form.
